There are quite a few Mexican restaurants in Korea and one of the best ones hands down is Coreanos. The business originates from Texas where it originally operated as a food truck, serving delicious Korean-Mexican fusion dishes and to this day there is still a food truck operating across the state.
What food can you expect at Coreanos Kitchen? Everything Mexican with a Korean twist!
The OG Burrito: Galbi beef burrito with cabbage slaw, onion, cilantro, caramelized kimchi, sesame oil vinaigrette & fries.
Pork KimCheese Fries (or Nachos) : Al Pastor, cheese, caramelized kimchi, served on fries, topped with onions, cilantro and sour cream
Other options are Quesadillas, Tacos, Skizzles (which are like a hotplate served on the table), Platters (which have a large selection and great for sharing), Salads, and a Cookie Pizza for dessert.
By default most of the food uses cilantro/coriander but the friendly staff at Coreanos Kitchen can remove it for you. It’s even written in a large green box on the menu to avoid any surprises.
There are also a selection of beers, and cocktails available. We personally recommend the Strawberry Frozen Margarita – delicious!
At the Apgujeong branch valet parking is available.
